The Hypixel Help Desk cannot process reports. Please use the methods listed below for our various services. Our Game Masters can only process reports of incidents that occurred on our official platforms (Hypixel Server, Hypixel Forums, and Hypixel Official Discord Server). Rule-breaking conducted on platforms not previously mentioned should be reported to the platform it occurred on in accordance with their rules and policies.
In this article, we will cover the various ways players are able to report someone breaking our rules.
In-Game | Forums | Hypixel Discord
General Reporting
/report [username]
>Using /report is your way of reporting players who you believe are breaking our rules. Once entered in chat, a GUI will appear with options for you to submit a player breaking our network’s rules.
All reports submitted get sent to a Staff Member or Watchdog for review.
Replays
Replay: Right-click a player you want to report in the replay and click on the anvil to submit a report to Staff Member.
Atlas: Once you've watched the entire replay or once you've decided that you have seen enough, you will use the ghast tear in your hotbar to submit your verdict.
Minigame Reporting
Build Battle & Pixel Painters: During the voting phase, right-click the barrier or anvil in your hotbar to report the player for making something inappropriate.
Housing: Right-click the door in your hotbar and click the anvil to report the house either for Inappropriate Build or Name.
Skyblock: If you believe a SkyBlock Island has an inappropriate island name, right-click the SkyBlock Menu and click on the anvil in the top right in the menu.
Housing/Skyblock (Holograms/Signs): To report a user using inappropriate signs or holograms present on their island or housing plot, simply use the command /worldreport while looking at the respective sign/hologram.
When you do this, you will be prompted as shown below.
UHC: Inappropriate item names can be reported by clicking on the death message.
SkyWars & Blitz SG: If you have the item in your hand, use /itemreport to report the item name.
As soon as the Hypixel Staff team dealt with your report, you will receive a message in chat on the server that informs you about it.
Forums
To report content on the forums, click on the ‘Report’ button on the content you want to report. If you want to report a user directly, go to their profile and click the ‘Report’ button.
You will select a report reason when you click on the report button. Report the content for the best reason, if you are unsure go with what matches what rule(s) they are breaking.

Hypixel Discord
You have three different options when making a report on our Discord server. Please use whichever reporting method best suits your circumstance.
/reportcommand
If you spot a user breaking rules in a channel, running the command /report in chat will bring up a helpful command interface shown below. This message is only visible to you!
From there, you can specify the individual by their username under the who category. You can access this by clicking on the who field.
Lastly, you can specify the rule-breaking conduct you are reporting for based on the following options...
This can be accessed by clicking on the reason field.
To be more specific, each reason for reporting content means the following...
- Profile Content: A user is using an inappropriate or offensive Discord tag, status, about me, banner, or profile picture.
- Chat Abuse: A user is sending inappropriate or otherwise offensive content in Hypixel Discord channels.
- Inappropriate Name: A user has an inappropriate or offensive Minecraft username. (This will be their display name in channels)
- Underage: A user has stated they are under the age of 13 years old in Hypixel Discord channels.
Profile Reporting
If you'd like to skip the need to specify a user during the report, you can simply right-click on their profile where you can click Apps, followed by Report User.
You will then be prompted with a selection menu to specify why you are reporting this user, as shown below.
Reporting a Message
Our final option for reporting content would be directly reporting a rule-breaking message.
To do so, locate the message you'd like to report, right-click and select Apps, followed by Report Message.
Using this reporting method will also prompt you to specify why you are reporting this message.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I report someone for an inappropriate build outside of Build Battle?
A: It is currently not possible to report a player for an inappropriate build in games like Bed Wars or SkyWars, however, we are continuously working on adding additional reporting features as needed.
