Replays
The Replay system allows you to watch back your games with all the detail of the gameplay in either third or first-person view. Similar to a video, you can pause, rewind and change the speed of the replay to fit your needs.
Accessing Replays
There are two ways to access your available replays. You can either type /games or go into your Profile (Player Head) and click the Book (Recent Games), which will appear with your previous games across all supported game modes.
Gamemodes that have replay support will feature an extra line saying you can watch this game back, shown below.
Multiple people can watch one replay. If the player has access to view a replay, all party members can get warped in to watch the replay together, with the leader having the controls of the replay.
Options
When inside the replay you can right-click on the Nether Start to open a menu with more options, allowing you to customize your viewing experience.
Below is a list of each item and what it does.

-

- This provides you with a clickable text in chat that copies the replay to your clipboard, allowing you to share the replay with fellow players of the same replay.
-

Reporting Players
To report a player who is cheating in the replay, right-click on the player and click the anvil which appears and select either Cheating, Cross Teaming, or Boosting.
You don’t need access to the Replay System for hackers to get banned. Using /report will trigger a variety of internal systems for us to then investigate your report with the most possible information. These will be our Atlas and Replay Systems. When our staff investigates normal reports, they can check the Replays from the accused player. You do not need to report them through the Replay System.
For more information on reporting players read our How to Report Rule Breakers article.
How long do Replays last?
The length of time for replays differs based on the rank of the player. All Players have the ability to view a replay and can be warped into a replay by another player. Replays last for the following lengths:
- No Rank: 30 Minutes
- VIP: 1 Day
- VIP+: 2 Days
- MVP: 3 Days
- MVP+ & MVP++: 4 Days
Atlas
Atlas is our replay review system that the community can take advantage of to help the staff team ban players breaking our rules that our Watchdog system doesn't already take care of.
Please Note: The Hypixel moderation team will review every report given to them from the Atlas system and will make the final verdict as to whether or not the player being reported is truly breaking the rules. The community opinion alone will never result in an infraction being given to the player in the reviewed replay.
Accessing Atlas
You can access it in two ways. Either by typing /atlas in any lobby or from the Game Menu compass by clicking on the map.
Using Atlas
SkyWars, Bed Wars, and Duels are our currently supported games for Atlas. From within the Atlas replay, you will watch a suspected cheater who currently has an open report against them. Once you have come to a decision after watching the replay, you will need to submit your conclusion as to whether or not they were cheating. Depending on the conclusion, the replay will then be sent to our Staff Team for final review.
Once your verdict has been submitted and the report has been handled, you can take a look at how your verdict accuracy is doing by hovering over the piece of paper in the Atlas menu in the bottom left-hand corner! Keep in mind, you will need to have submitted at least 50 verdicts to have the accuracy indicator show up.
Supported Gamemodes and Requirements
The following game modes are currently supported for Atlas:
SkyWars: Network Level 50+ and have 500+ combined SkyWars games played.
Bed Wars: Network Level 50+ and have 500+ combined Bed Wars games played.
Duels: Network Level 50+ and have 500+ combined Duels games played.
The game type, such as if it’s a Team SkyWars game or a Sumo Duel does not matter when it comes to the combined games played. They will all count towards one combined total.
Atlas FAQ
What do I get from it?
Along with helping out the Moderation team and the network, for every successful verdict, you submit you’ll be awarded 2,000 Network Experience.
What happens if people try to abuse Atlas?
If a player decides to purposely send an incorrect verdict on replays they are watching, their opinion will start to matter less and less with more incorrect verdicts given. This will prevent them from gaining any reward for a successful verdict.
Atlas also has built-in anonymity within each replay, which prevents any sort of identification of the player from being reported to be leaked.
What happens if I find another player cheating in the replay, but they aren't the Suspect?
if you find another player is cheating or breaking the rules within the current Atlas replay you’re in, you can report the "player" by right-clicking on them and then clicking on the Anvil. This will appear with either an option for Cheater, Cross Teaming, or Boosting, clicking one of those options will generate a new report for the Moderation team to handle.
What does the Longest Tick mean in the side menu?
The longest tick that you're seeing shows the longest duration for a server tick during the last second. This is NOT an indicator of whether or not the players themselves are lagging. A higher longest tick means that the server is lagging slightly, not the player. Regardless, it is still helpful for you all to know just in case you see something weird happening within the Atlas replay.
