Welcome to the Hypixel Housing Content Rules! To ensure a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all our players, we’ve created a set of rules to help guide your creations on the Hypixel Mincraft Server, specifically for Housing. These rules provide additional clarity on what is and isn’t allowed when creating content in Housing, extending our Server Rules and the Terms of Service.
You are solely responsible for all content within your personal Housing plot, including content created by others. We strongly advise against granting full access to other community members, even if they are trusted.
Not following these rules may result in further action(s) being taken against your content or your access to Hypixel. This may include complete removal of your created content on the server and issuance of a punishment. These rules will be continuously evolving, so keep an eye out for future updates! As always, if you see any rules being broken you can take advantage of our reporting system by using /report in game.
Respectful and Inclusive Content
Content must not include offensive language, hate speech, discrimination, or any other form of threats or harassment. This includes:
- The use of slurs or profanity directed at individuals or groups
- Any content that promotes violence, prejudice, or dehumanization based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation
- Bullying or sharing private information, including doxing, harassment, or any form of personal attacks
Gambling or Depictions of Gambling
Content must not include any form of real life gambling mechanics or any type of gambling related themes. This includes:
- Building or sharing content that simulates gambling mechanics, such as slot machines, roulette tables, or other casino games, regardless of intent or whether real stakes are involved
- Organizing or advertising any form of betting or gambling between players, through any means
Giveaways and External Incentives or Rewards
Creating or promoting giveaways of any kind is not allowed. Offering in-game items, currency, or other rewards as incentives for joining or interacting with any external platform is also not allowed. This includes incentives offered on external platforms for engaging with Hypixel content. This includes:
- Organizing or advertising giveaways for in-game items, currency, or rewards, regardless of whether participation is free, requires interaction, or involves payment
- Offering in-game rewards or incentives (e.g., coins, items, special events, boosters, or services) in exchange for joining or interacting with Discord servers, YouTube channels, social media pages, or other external platforms
- Promoting giveaways or rewards contingent on actions such as liking, subscribing, following, or interacting with an external account or platform
- Using third-party services or individuals to facilitate prohibited giveaways or rewards.
- Any attempts to bypass or circumvent these rules, whether directly or indirectly, through alternative arrangements or technicalities
Real-World Events
In respect of people impacted by these events, content must not include any reference or depiction of real-world events like, terrorist attacks, wars, pandemics, or any other sensitive world events. This includes:
- Content about specific acts of terrorism, terrorist groups, or individuals involved
- Creating builds or content that represent ongoing or historical wars, battles, or military conflicts
- Creating content that references COVID-19 or other real-life pandemics
- Creating content involving events such as school shootings, protests, or other real-world tragedies
Politics
Any depiction of political figures, groups, or events is not allowed. This includes:
- Political entities, such as parties or organizations
- Political figures, including current, former, or upcoming officials
- Political campaigns, races, or elections, past, present, or upcoming
Adult Themes or Content
Any content involving adult themes or explicit material are strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Creating content involving adult themes such as drugs, alcohol, or explicit violence
- Creating content about sexually explicit topics
- Creating or engaging in role-play scenarios with adult themes
- Designing or constructing structures, pixel art, or items that visually depict adult content or themes
- Naming housing plots or items with suggestive or adult-themed titles
Copyrighted Content
We respect the rights of copyright holders and will respond to valid DMCA takedown requests in accordance with applicable law. Outside of such requests, we generally do not take action on content that may be inspired by or resemble copyrighted material.

Use or promotion of Bots, Alts, Disallowed Mods or Scripts, or External Services
The use of bots, alternate accounts, disallowed mods or scripts, or external services to manipulate gameplay is not allowed. This includes:
- Using automated software or scripts to interact with your house or game in any way (with the exception noted below)
- Using multiple accounts (alts) to artificially increase player counts
- Using third-party services or tools to gain an unfair advantage
We are currently allowing limited use of certain macro mods in Housing, at our discretion. This exception is subject to change and applies only to:
- Macro mods that follow vanilla Minecraft mechanics to automate creating Housing actions
